Steel Shot Round (Steel Shot High Carbonized) is a round reusable abrasive (hardness approx. 48HRC), which is used in shot blast machines. In the blasting process, the round grain slowly degrades and a balanced operating mixture is produced. Due to the high energy transfer during blasting, surfaces are cleaned faster and more effectively than with a low-carbon abrasive. Higher throughput speeds and abrasive savings are clear and demonstrable positive effects of our high carbon Steel Shots abrasive, and more effective blasting also reduces the cost of the blasting process.
