Appropriate and approved personal protective equipment (PPE) to carry out sandblasting work is mandatory and therefore important.
Since the sandblasting agent/air mixture emerges from the sandblasting nozzle at high speeds, which inevitably harbours certain dangers, appropriate sandblasting protection = protective equipment must be used for the sandblaster. The complete protective equipment should provide optimal visibility and protect against sandblasting media and dust ingress. Of course, the safety of the sandblaster must come first, without neglecting the comfort and freedom of movement.
