Cast steel round (Steel Shot high carbon)
is a round, reusable abrasive (hardness approx. 48HRC), which is used in wheel sandblasting systems. In the sandblasting process, the round grain slowly breaks down and a balanced operating mixture is created. Due to the high energy transfer during sandblasting, surfaces are cleaned faster and more effectively than with a low-carbon sandblasting agent. Higher throughput speeds and abrasive savings are clear and demonstrable positive effects of our highly hollowed Steel Shot abrasives. More effective sandblasting also reduces the costs of the sandblasting process.
