The DEFENDER® BR blast protection suit from BartelsRieger has been specially developed for use when blasting with granular abrasives and has been tested and approved in accordance with EN ISO 14877:2002.
The DEFENDER BR is type 1 protective clothing, which is independent of breathing apparatus. The DEFENDER BR offers body protection/rebound protection when handling granular abrasives and additional protection against dust and moisture thanks to the 3-layer fabric and sealed seams.
Thanks to the 3-layer Lamigard® material (95 % nylon 6.6 / 5 % PU / PTFE / nylon), it provides reliable protection against impact particles, dust and moisture. The taped seams increase impermeability, while the breathable properties ensure a comfortable fit even during prolonged use.
