The epitome of absolutely gentle, effective and environmentally friendly cleaning is the new SAPI “VARIO” gentle blasting nozzle technology. The modular SAPI “VARIO” nozzle concept makes it possible to perform 3 different blasting processes with just one base nozzle. This offers the advantage of optimally adapting to constantly changing cleaning requirements to achieve the best possible cleaning results. By simply exchanging special nozzle components, the base nozzle can be effectively and economically used as a swirl blast, flat blast or Venturi round blast nozzle. In addition, a range of differently sized nozzle heads is available for swirl blast, flat blast and Venturi blasting technology.

Swirl Blasting Technology
“The substrate-friendly way to clean”
In the SAPI swirl blasting process, the compressed air stream is set into rotation using a special swirl flow insert, similar to a cyclone. The blasting particles finely distributed in the rotating air stream are gently guided across the surface to be cleaned with very soft air pressure. This achieves a fine grinding, erasing cleaning effect that uniquely protects the surface being cleaned. A range of special fine blasting media such as glass powder, calcite powder, stone powder and special abrasives are available for gentle cleaning of various building materials. Wherever the most gentle material and surface treatment is required, the SAPI swirl blast nozzle demonstrates decisive advantages in both quality and performance compared to conventional nozzle technology.

Flat Blasting Technology (additional accessories required)

The newly developed and already successfully proven VARIO flat blast nozzle forms a super-flat wide blast pattern thanks to its sophisticated nozzle configuration. The resulting spatula-shaped wide blast guides the blasting media finely distributed in the compressed air extremely flatly bundled and with particularly high surface output onto the surface to be cleaned. This makes the removal of coatings and stubborn contaminants even more efficient than with conventional round blast nozzles. The blast width is 15-30 cm, depending on the nozzle head size. By varying the abrasive grain sizes and air pressure, this nozzle technology can be used across a very wide range of applications.
