Hose Separation Safety Device

Hose whip checks are used to secure hose connection points. They serve to secure the hoses in the event of an unintentional disconnection of the hose joints.

The hose whip check prevents the hoses from whipping around.

As a general rule, whip checks should be installed at all hose connections.

Before coupling the hoses, open the spring-loaded loop and slide it over the hoses until the whip check is straight and the hoses are slightly bent.
