The NOVA 1 blasting helmet offers maximum wearing comfort with the same design features as the NOVA 2000 protective mask. The only difference is the rectangular viewing field, which also allows the use of glass lenses upon request. The NOVA 1 protective mask also features the 3-lens system with inner lens, wear disc, and tear-off films.

In addition to the list of safety standards, the RPB NOVA 1 meets the requirements of ANSI Z89.1-2010 for head protection and ANSI Z87-1-2012 Type 1 Class C, the high-speed eye protection standards. It exceeds the requirements of AS/NZS.
