Round cast steel (high-carbon steel shot)is a reusable round abrasive (hardness approx. 48HRC) used in wheel blasting machines. During the blasting process, the round grain breaks down slowly and a balanced operating mix is created. Due to the high energy transfer during blasting, surfaces are cleaned more quickly and efficiently than with a low-carbon abrasive. The increase in production speed and the saving of abrasive are clear and demonstrable positive effects of our high-performance Steel Shot abrasive, and more efficient blasting also reduces the cost of the blasting process.
