Angular cast steel (Steel Grit)is a hard (approx. 61HRC), angular and very abrasive reusable abrasive, which is used in various compressed air applications. The angular grain breaks in the blasting process and thus continuously releases new, sharp edges. When blasting with grit, considerably less dust is generated than, for example, with corundum or chilled cast abrasive. This protects your blasting system and your extraction system and you have a better view of the substrate that is being processed during blasting. In addition, steel grit blasting media has a 30% - 40% longer service life than corundum or chilled cast iron and is, therefore, the most economical solution for pressure blasting.
