2000 kg Angular Cast Steel (Steel Grit) Blasting Abrasive
Angular Cast Steel (Steel Grit)
is a hard (approx. 61HRC), angular and highly abrasive reusable blasting media used in various compressed air applications. During the blasting process, the angular grain breaks and continuously releases new, sharp edges. Blasting with Steel Grit produces significantly less dust than e.g. corundum or chilled cast iron abrasives. This protects your blasting equipment and dust extraction system, giving you better visibility of the substrate being processed. Furthermore, Steel Grit blasting abrasive has 30% - 40% longer service life than corundum or chilled cast iron, making it the most economical solution for pressure blasting.
