Pressure Blasting Equipment with SAPI - Safety Shutdown
Our sandblasting equipment with our unique safety shutdown has proven itself in tough, daily use.
By using our safety quick stop shutdown, the safe operation of the blasting pot is guaranteed and man and machine are optimally protected.
The great advantage of this remote control valve is that the blasting pot remains permanently pressurized and does not have to be pressurized and depressurized at every start and stop as is the case with other remote controls. The sandblasting pot only needs to be vented when blasting material needs to be refilled or when blasting operations are completed.
SAPI pressure blasting pots are equipped with a pressure regulator, which enables the stepless regulation of the blasting pressure from 0.1 - 12 bar. In addition, all sandblasting tanks are TÜV-tested and thus meet all requirements.
The installed abrasive dosing valve is suitable for all common abrasives and can be dosed exactly. This enables the best possible blasting results with low abrasive consumption.
ADVANTAGES of the SAPI safety shutdown:
- Fastest switch-off and switch-on times, while complying with the regulations of the professional associations. (VBG 48)
- The pressure setting can be precisely adjusted before the actual blasting process from0.1 - 12.0 bar steplessly adjustable.
- less abrasive consumption, because the pressure vessel remains permanently under pressure and therefore there is no unnecessary run-on of abrasive.
- When restarting, the full blasting pressure is immediately available at the nozzle and does not have to be built up slowly first. This results in significantly lower abrasive consumption and significantly less wear of the blasting hose.
- No formation of moisture (condensate) in the tank, as the tank remains constantly under pressure and is not vented at every start and stop. This method simultaneously gives other advantages as follows:
- Optimal abrasive dosing with hardened fine dosing valve
- Lower compressed air requirement, resulting in a significant reduction in fuel consumption (diesel)
- one-man operation, as the blasting pressure is constantly indicated by the tank pressure and can be easily changed at the pressure gauge without having to start the machine first.
- No failure-prone equipment components such as control valves, diaphragms and seals, thus easy to maintain and reliable in operation. Only the blasting hose in the safety shutdown has to be checked and replaced if necessary.
A retrofit of existing blast machines to the SAPI safety shutdown is also possible, contact us if you would also like to benefit from these advantages.
