Pressure blasting machine "Mammut 100 L" complete set mounted in a mesh box

Our SAPI pressure sandblasting device type "Mammut" with a tank capacity of 100 litres is suitable for all common blasting media. The sandblasting pressure can be continuously adjusted from 0.1 - 12 bar using the built-in pressure regulator. A water separator is also permanently attached to the blasting device, this separates moisture from the compressed air and prevents the blasting agent from clumping due to too much moisture.

Our safety shutdown is included for the safe operation of the sandblasting device. This starts and stops the blasting process by operating the hand lever, which is mounted on the blasting hose.

The pressure blasting device is delivered completely ready for use, mounted in a lattice box to save space. Only the compressed air supply has to be established and filled with abrasive.

It can be easily transported by forklift or pallet truck. A lockable aluminium box is mounted for storage for protective clothing, spare parts, etc.

• The pressure setting can be precisely adjusted before the actual blasting process from 0.1 - 12.0 bar, continuously adjustable.
• Lower consumption of blasting media, as the pressure vessel remains permanently under pressure and there is no unnecessary run-on of blasting media.
• When restarting, the full blasting pressure is immediately available at the nozzle and does not have to be built up slowly, resulting in significantly lower blasting media consumption and significantly less wear on the blasting hose.
• No moisture build-up (condensate) in the container, as the boiler remains constantly under pressure and is not vented and vented at every start and stop. This procedure also gives rise to other advantages as follows:
• Optimal abrasive dosing with a hardened fine dosing valve
• Lower compressed air requirement, resulting in a significant reduction in fuel consumption (diesel)
• A one-man operation, as the sandblasting pressure is constantly displayed by the tank pressure and can easily be changed on the manometer without having to start.
• No malfunction-prone device components such as control valves, membranes and seals, making it easy to maintain and reliable. All you have to do is check the blasting hose in the safety shutdown and replace it if necessary

The SAPI blasting device can be used for almost all blasting work and is particularly suitable for derusting, descaling, paint stripping, roughening and compacting stainless steel surfaces.

The areas of application are the surface treatment of iron, steel, stainless steel, masonry,
Plaster, concrete, natural stone and much more. For blasting work, we recommend all commercially available blasting media, such as slag, chilled cast iron, steel grit, corundum, glass beads, etc.

We recommend the following types of fine blasting media for gentle surface treatment:

• Fine glass powder 0.09 - 0.25 mm hardness according to Moh`s 6 - 6.5
• Calcite powder (stone powder) 0.01 - 0.02 mm according to Moh`s 3.5
• Garnet sand 0.04 - 0.1 mm according to Moh`s 8
