Cast Steel Round (Steel Shot, High-Carbon) is a round reusable blasting abrasive (hardness approx. 48 HRC), used in wheel blasting machines. During the blasting process, the round grain gradually wears down, creating a balanced operating mix. Thanks to the high energy transfer during blasting, surfaces are cleaned faster and more effectively than with a low-carbon blasting abrasive. Higher throughput speeds and blasting abrasive savings are clear and provable positive effects of our high-carbon Steel Shot blasting abrasive. More effective blasting also reduces the costs of the blasting process.
