Cast Steel Angular (Steel Grit)
is a hard (approx. 61 HRC), angular and very abrasive reusable blasting abrasive, used in various compressed air applications. During the blasting process, the angular grain breaks and continuously releases new, sharp edges. When blasting with Grit, considerably less dust is produced compared to corundum or chilled cast iron blasting abrasive. This protects your blasting system as well as your extraction system and provides better visibility of the substrate being processed during blasting. Furthermore, Steel Grit blasting abrasive has a 30% - 40% better service life than corundum or chilled cast iron, making it the most economical solution for pressure blasting.
